WineDrops Live – The UK’s Biggest Wine Festival

The inaugural Winedrops Live festival brought an unforgettable celebration of wine, food, and community to London’s East End this past weekend.
Held at Big Penny Social in Walthamstow from October 10–12, the event lived up to its billing as the UK’s biggest wine festival, welcoming thousands of guests for a weekend of discovery, flavour, and fun.
More than 60 producers and importers showcased an impressive range of over 500 wines from around the world — from crisp English sparklings to bold Californian reds and delicate French rosés. Visitors had the chance to taste, learn, and connect directly with winemakers in an informal, welcoming atmosphere that perfectly captured the Winedrops ethos: great wine, without the pretence.
Xavier Bourreli, Europe Sales Manager, proudly represented five distinguished wineries from our portfolio at the Winedrops event: Beau Vigne, Dolum Estates, Buttercup, Lyeth Estate, and Pra Vinera. Each of these wineries showcased their unique expressions of California winemaking, offering guests a diverse range of styles—from the elegant and expressive wines of Beau Vigne and Dolum Estates to the approachable charm of Buttercup, the rich heritage of Lyeth Estate, and the bold character of Pra Vinera.
Beyond the glass, festival-goers enjoyed a lively mix of music, street food, and masterclasses. Interactive tastings guided by sommeliers and producers proved especially popular, offering guests a deeper appreciation of both winemaking and pairing techniques.
