Last January, Marc and Xavier, the Bourreli Brothers, embarked on an intense and insightful journey through California’s prestigious wine regions. The trip, packed with winery visits, tastings, and meetings, allowed them to connect with producers, explore new wines to include A-Wines California portfolio, and lay the groundwork for future collaborations.
Visit 1 – Ancient Peaks Winery

Located in the southern Paso Robles wine region, Ancient Peaks Winery combines rich history with exceptional wines. Situated on the historic Santa Margarita Ranch, the Ancient Peaks Winery produces estate-grown wines from over 1,000 acres of diverse vineyards. The name “Ancient Peaks” reflects the area’s ancient mountains and geological heritage.
The winery is known for its sustainability efforts and premium wines, including Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Zinfandel, and Chardonnay, all crafted from vineyards enjoying unique microclimates. For their first visit of the facilities, Marc and Xavier enjoyed a full range tasting and a guided vineyard tour with Barry White, the estate General Manager.

The main purpose of the visit was the discovery and the tasting of Grand Napa Vineyards new brand: X WINERY. X Winery. Premium, estate-grown wines, including Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay. With a focus on quality, sustainable practices, and a dedication to craftsmanship, X Winery offers a memorable wine-tasting experience in a beautiful setting, making it a must-visit for wine enthusiasts.

Marc and Xavier had the privilege of meeting Ren Harris, founder and owner of Paradigm Winery in Oakville for a tasting as well as a walk in the estate vineyards. The occasion to rediscover their exceptional and intimate wines.
